Julie joined Exceptional Care in May 2017, after relocating back to the Northwest.

A Financial analyst understanding all areas of key cost drivers, waster streams and identifying areas for improvement and implementing change to meet financial targets of a business.

Phillipa joined Exceptional Care in April 2015 and has over 20 years of experience of working within Health & Social Care. Throughout Phillipa’s experience, she has worked with both adults and children with a varying range of needs including Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Substance Misuse, Autism and Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties.
Phillipa has over 15 years experience of working within a management role and has vast experience with the Care Quality Commission and with Ofsted and has previously led inspections to a rating of good.
Phillipa has completed her NVQ Level 3 & 4 in Health & Social Care, Diploma Level 3 in Management, B-Tec Advanced Award in Care Skills and Diploma Level 5 in Management & Leadership. Phillipa has attended other relevant training for her role including: Safeguarding, Child Sexual Exploitation, Challenging Behaviour, Radicalisation, Missing from Home, Risk Assessment, CAF, Health & Safety among many others.

Kayleigh joined Exceptional Care in December 13, she has over 7 years’ experience within Children with Disabilities and Adults with Physical Disabilities. Kayleigh has completed BTEC national diploma health studies, foundation degree in arts, health and social care, Manual Handling, Safeguarding, Supervision, Fire Safety, Medication and Managing Challenging Behaviour. Since joining Exceptional Care Kayleigh has complete a drugs and alcohol awareness course, CSE, PRICE , Working together to safeguard children level 2, 3 day first aid course, Dealing with self-harm, Working creatively with young people, Resilience, Diet and Nutrition, Internet Safety managing sexualised behaviours, attachment and trauma training, intervention and planning using the good lives model with young people who sexually harm, assessment and therapeutic intervention training with young people who sexually harm, resilience training, working with young people who display sexually inappropriate behaviour in a residential setting and MAPPA.
Kayleigh is being supported to complete the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Management. Kayleigh has recently completed the course: Prevention, Protection, Restoration which involves using natural holds to keep the young person safe.
Kayleigh is currently the CSE champion for Oak House.
Julie has owned her own barge for 8 years, and has a vast experience in sailing barges, throughout the UK canal networks, Julie has facilitated numerous excellent canal holidays with young people whilst as a Registered Manager.
Julie holds RYA Helmsman certificate.
Julie has worked in various homes across the North West, Managing CSE, SHB, EBD and Mental Health provisions, over 13 years Julie has also taken up and managed dual registration of two homes.
Julie holds the RMA award, NQ3 children and young people and Diploma 5 in leadership and management.
